Mod-eez 4032 Non-Locking Clip – Concealed Case Goods & Cabinet Connector

The Mod-eez 4032 Single Clip is the non-locking version of the 4030 Series, designed for 5/8″+ material. It provides a secure yet removable connection, making it the ideal choice when assemblies need to be disassembled and reassembled without damage.

Constructed from spring steel, the 4032 works in combination with a Mod-eez Shoulder Screw to create a concealed, self-tightening joint that is immediately load-bearing. With its simple installation and strong performance, it is widely used in furniture, case goods, and shopfitting applications.

This product contains the clip only. For convenience, Mod-eez Sets are also available which include the clip, Shoulder Screw, and mounting screws.

Steps

1. Route the pocket for the Mod-eez Clip according to the technical chart.

2. Pre-drill 5/32″ (4 mm) holes, 32 mm on center, using the K617 Drilling and Depth Jig.

3. Mount the clip with PH-screws Ø 4.5 mm (length as required).

4. Pre-drill and install the Shoulder Screw in the mating panel.

5. Slide the Shoulder Screw head into the clip ramp and secure by tapping lightly with a rubber mallet.

Tips

• Use the non-locking clip where assemblies need repeat disassembly.

• Pockets are typically routed in edges but can be face-mounted if required.

• For added holding strength, use longer PH-screws (5 × 60 mm).

• Mod-eez clips can also be welded to approximately 16 ga. steel.
