SUNNY Biscuit Connector

The SUNNY biscuit connector is a #20 self-tightening, non-visible slide-in connector made of reinforced plastic with integrated locking tabs. Designed for all wood and board materials, SUNNY provides fast, secure, and gap-free joints without clamps or glue.

The two identical halves are knocked into a standard #20 biscuit slot with a hammer, where patented cutting edges intersect in the material and hold the connector firmly in place. Components snap together immediately and the joint is load-bearing as soon as it’s assembled.

SUNNY’s integrated locking tabs prevent joints from loosening or forming gaps over time, making it an excellent choice for RTA furniture, cabinets, and millwork. It also functions as a reliable gluing aid for miter joints, providing extra strength where permanent bonding is required.

1. Cut a #20 biscuit slot using a biscuit joiner or CNC.

2. Position the connector tip at one end of the slot at an angle matching the radius of the cut.

3. Press into the groove, ensuring the connector halves are inserted mirrored.

4. Knock the SUNNY connector into the slot with a hammer, sliding it along the radius so the cutting edges lock into the material.

5. Confirm that the connectors at the outer ends are flush with the surface of the component.

6. To assemble, insert the parts and slide them together until fully engaged.

Tips

• Apply a few drops of KNAPP-Adhesive PU+ (Z011/1) for additional strength if desired.

• The SUNNY latches automatically with integrated locking tabs — disassembly is not possible.

• Pressing pressure is about 10 kg per connector, depending on the material.
