DUO 30 oL – Concealed Hook Connector without Sideways Tolerance

The DUO 30 oL is a concealed steel hook connector designed for fast and stable assembly of wall panels, cabinetry, and architectural millwork. With its 30 mm diameter and dovetail-style interlock, it creates a strong load-bearing connection as soon as the parts are screwed and hooked together.

This “oL” version is engineered without sideways tolerance, ensuring a tight, exact fit with no lateral play. It is self-tightening, can be disassembled if required, and installs quickly using the KNAPP Forstner Bit with an adjustable depth gauge.

Steps

1. Mark connector placement using the KNAPP Drilling Jig.

2. Drill a 30 mm Ø recess, 3 mm deep, with the KNAPP Forstner Bit and adjustable depth stop.

3. Use the DUO Center Punch to transfer the connection mark to the counterpart.

4. Screw the hook connectors opposite each other using CS-screws (3×13 mm or 3.5×16 mm).

5. Hook the workpieces together to complete assembly.
