easy-con M8‑16‑50 Stair and Table Connector

The easy-con® M8-16-50 is a universal, non-visible fastener designed for secure assembly of staircases, frames, panels, and table legs. Its concealed design eliminates visible screws and caps, creating clean architectural finishes while still meeting the highest safety standards.

This version positions the borehole center 50 mm from the end of the board, providing greater anchoring depth and strength than the compact M8-16-25. Steps

1. Install the tensioning barrel into borehole #1 (Ø 16 mm × 28 mm).

2. Place the spring bolt into borehole #2 (Ø 16 mm × 70 mm for the M8-16-50).

3. Fasten the set screw lightly with an Allen wrench.

4. Screw the threaded spring insert into borehole #3 (Ø 25 mm × 20 mm).

5. Attach the workpiece by inserting the bolt into the threaded spring insert.

6. Tighten the set screw fully with an Allen wrench.

Tips

• Do not fully tighten the set screw before inserting the workpiece.

• Best suited for larger stair and table applications where additional edge spacing is required.

• Works with all wood and board materials (solid or composite).

• Use a column-type drilling machine or slotted hole drill press for consistent results.
