Mod-eez Anti-Rotation – Sample Pack

The Mod-eez Anti-Rotation Sample Pack includes 10 male (2075) and 10 female (2076) spring steel clips designed to prevent rotation in panel joints, furniture frames, and cabinetry. These connectors slide into one another, creating a secure, concealed joint that maintains alignment even in narrow or compact assemblies such as table aprons.

Steps

1. Route the pocket for the female clip according to the 2070 Series routing chart.

   • Routing depth: 14 mm (0.550″)

   • Routing length: ≥ 42 mm (1.674″)

   • Routing width: 10 mm (0.390″)

   • Panel thickness: ≥ 16 mm (5/8″)

   • Hole-line A: 32 mm (1-1/4″)

2. Use the CCD/2070 Drilling and Depth Jig to pre-drill 5/32 inch (4 mm) holes, 32 mm on center.

3. Mount the female clip in the routed pocket using PH screws Ø 4.5 mm.

4. Attach the male clip to the surface of the opposing workpiece with PH screws Ø 4.5 mm.

5. Assemble the joint by sliding the male and female clips together until they seat securely.

Tips

• Ideal for applications where rotation prevention is critical in narrow components like table aprons.

• Longer PH screws (5 × 60 mm) can increase load-bearing strength.

• Clips can be reassembled multiple times without loss of holding power.

• Welding to steel (approx. 16 ga.) can be accomplished by wire welding when used in hybrid assemblies.
