ACRO 100×47 Beam Connector

The ACRO 100 x 47 Beam Connector is one of the larger variants in the ACRO system, engineered to provide a stronger concealed connection for medium scale timber assemblies. Designed for precision, speed, and clean architectural detailing, this connector uses identical interlocking steel components that form a force fit joint inside a shallow routed housing.

Manufactured in Austria from high strength, blue zinc coated steel, the ACRO 100 x 47 offers excellent load transfer performance for post to beam and beam to beam connections. Its adjustable, self tensioning screw configuration maintains compression in the joint, helping prevent gaps as the timber settles over time.

Highly suited for prefabricated construction, architectural structures, and detailed interior timberwork, the ACRO 100 x 47 delivers a durable, hidden joint that is simple to install and fully disassemblable whenever needed.

Use only self tapping screws compliant with ÖNORM M5027.

• End grain: 9 pcs SK 5 × 60 mm

• Side grain: 5 pcs SK 5 × 40 mm

Load Capacity

• F0 = 4.14 kN* shear force in insertion direction

* Load values per Holzforschung Austria (HFA). Valid only when using approved self tapping screws per ÖNORM M5027 (5×40, 5×60, 6×40, 6×60 mm).

Material

• High strength, blue zinc coated steel

• Rout an 8.5 mm deep recess using a Ø 15 mm slot cutter or CNC machining.

• Position connector components into the routed housing.

• Install required screws according to grain direction.

• Slide connector halves together until fully seated.

• Adjust screw pressure to fine tune clamping force.
