ACRO 90×62 Beam Connector

The ACRO 90 x 62 Beam Connector is a concealed, self tensioning connector designed for accurate, visually clean post and beam joints. Constructed from high strength blue zinc coated steel, the connector locks together inside a shallow milled recess, creating a precise force fit connection while remaining removable and adjustable as needed.

As part of the modular ACRO system, this connector supports highly flexible design and assembly workflows. Prefabricated elements can be produced with consistent accuracy, transported as separate pieces, and assembled quickly on site. The connector’s screw based compression allows installers to fine tune the joint to accommodate natural timber tolerances without restricting material movement.

Only standard self tapping screws per ÖNORM M5027 may be used to achieve the tested values.

• End grain: 7 pcs SK 6 × 60 mm

• Side grain: 5 pcs SK 6 × 40 mm

Material

• High strength, corrosion resistant blue zinc coated steel

• Precision engineered connector components manufactured in Austria

• Rout a recess approximately 8.5 mm deep using CNC or a handheld router.

• Position connector components and pre drill screw holes for accuracy.

• Install screws according to grain direction requirements.

• Engage connector parts inside the recess until fully seated.

• Adjust screw pressure to create clean alignment and proper joint compression.
