The RICON 13 x 160 EA Stainless Steel Beam Hanger is a concealed single connection system designed for precise, corrosion-resistant timber joints in indoor and outdoor applications. Manufactured from A2 stainless steel, it delivers durable performance in Service Class 3 environments—ideal for exterior timber assemblies exposed to moisture or weather.

This model features extended 160 mm plates for greater load transfer capacity while maintaining a slim 13 mm profile for clean, unobtrusive installation. The two identical connector plates interlock in a dovetail-like configuration, providing a tight, self-aligning fit. Installation is fast, accurate, and repeatable using A2 stainless steel screws, and the connection can be installed either visible or fully concealed.

• Fire Resistance: R30 ≥ 20 mm, R60 ≥ 40 mm (four-sided concealed installation)

• ETA Extension: Certified for hardwoods and impregnated timbers (e.g., oak, larch, Accoya)

• Mill a recess into the beam end according to the routing template.

• Mount one stainless steel plate using A2 self-tapping screws (5×50 mm and 5×80 mm).

• Attach the opposite plate to the mating surface (post, wall, or beam).

• Align and slide both plates together until fully interlocked.

• Secure with the stainless steel locking bracket if required.

• Verify alignment and tighten all screws to specification.
