RICON 13 x 70 EA Stainless Steel Beam Hanger

The RICON 13 x 70 EA Stainless Steel Beam Hanger is a compact concealed single connection system designed for precise and durable joints in small-scale timber assemblies. Made from A2 stainless steel, it provides excellent corrosion resistance for both indoor and outdoor applications, making it ideal for exposed structures in Service Class 3 environments.

Each connector consists of two identical stainless steel plates that interlock in a dovetail-like configuration. Despite its small size, the system delivers reliable load transfer and long-term performance. Installation is fast and repeatable using the included A2 stainless steel screws, and the connection can be fully concealed or visible as needed.

• Fire Resistance: R30 ≥ 20 mm, R60 ≥ 40 mm (four-sided concealed installation)

• ETA Extension: Approved for hardwoods and impregnated timbers (oak, larch, Accoya)

• Mill a recess into the timber component according to the routing template.

• Mount one stainless steel plate using A2 self-tapping screws (5×50 mm and 5×80 mm).

• Attach the opposite plate to the mating surface (beam, post, or wall).

• Align and slide the plates together until fully interlocked.

• Secure with the included stainless steel locking bracket if required.

• Verify alignment and tighten all fasteners to specification.
