RICON 16 x 66 EA Stainless Steel Beam Hanger

The RICON 16 x 66 EA Stainless Steel Beam Hanger is a compact concealed connection system designed for lightweight timber joints and fine architectural applications where corrosion resistance and precision are essential. Made from A2 stainless steel, it provides long-term durability in both indoor and outdoor environments (Service Class 3).

This connector consists of two identical stainless steel plates that interlock in a dovetail-like fashion to form a tight, self-aligning joint. The 66 mm plates allow for concealed, corrosion-resistant connections in small structural members, furniture-grade joinery, or decorative wood applications. Installation is fast and accurate using A2 stainless steel screws.

• Fire Resistance: R30 ≥ 20 mm, R60 ≥ 40 mm (four-sided concealed installation)

• ETA Extension: Certified for hardwoods and impregnated timbers (e.g., oak, larch, Accoya)

• Mill a recess into the timber end according to the routing template.

• Mount one stainless steel plate using A2 self-tapping screws (5×50 mm and 5×80 mm, or alternate sizes).

• Attach the opposite plate to the mating surface (beam, wall, or post).

• Align and slide both plates together until fully interlocked.

• Secure with the included stainless steel locking bracket if required.

• Verify alignment and tighten all fasteners to specification.
