RICON 25 x 70 EA Stainless Steel Beam Hanger

The RICON 25 x 70 EA Stainless Steel Beam Hanger is a concealed single-connection system for compact timber construction where a clean, low-visibility beam connection is required. Part of the KNAPP RICON stainless-steel range, it is manufactured from A2 stainless steel for corrosion-resistant indoor and outdoor use, including exposed service-class-3 applications. Its short 70 mm plate length and slim 25 mm profile make it especially suitable for narrow or space-restricted timber members.

The connection is formed by two identical stainless steel plates that engage in a self-tightening dovetail geometry. This shape makes hook-in easy, captures the CS-screws securely, helps close the joint tightly, and supports fast, repeatable assembly. The included stainless steel CS-screws feature reinforced shafts with integrated stops for precise positioning, while the stainless spring-steel locking clip can be inserted before final assembly to secure the connection against the slide-in direction and still allow later disassembly if needed. The system can be installed concealed or visible and is designed to compensate for minor fabrication tolerances during assembly.

• Mill the recesses according to the routing template,
• Fasten one plate to the beam and the mating plate to the supporting member using the specified stainless CS-screws,
• Slide the two plates fully together until engaged,
• Insert the locking clip if required.
• Verify final alignment before completing the assembly.
