RICON DA 40 x 100 VM48 Beam Hanger

The RICON DA 40 x 100 VM48 Beam Hanger is a concealed double connection system designed for joining two beams to a single post. It provides a flush, hidden connection that allows high load transfer while maintaining a clean architectural appearance.

This version features 100 mm connector plates and 48 mm compound nuts, optimized for 50 mm post sections. The shorter compound nuts provide secure alignment in compact structural applications, making the VM48 configuration ideal for smaller framing layouts and lighter timber assemblies.

• Mill the recess in the end grain of each beam according to the template.

• Mount the connector plates with SK-screws (5×80 mm, 5×50 mm, and 8×80 mm).

• Drill through the post and insert the compound nuts (M8 10×48 mm).

• Attach the opposite plates using M8x25 SK-screws.

• Align and slide both beams together until the plates interlock.

• Install the locking brackets to secure the connection.

• Verify alignment and perform final tightening before closing the assembly.
