The RICON DA 40 x 120 VM48 Beam Hanger is a concealed double connection system used to join two beams to a single post. This configuration employs through-post compound nuts to provide accurate alignment and prevent screw interference between intersecting members.

The VM48 version includes 48 mm compound nuts for 50 mm post sections, offering a secure connection in compact assemblies where space and material thickness are limited. • Mill a recess into the end grain of each beam using the provided template.

• Mount the connector plates with SK-screws (5×80 mm, 5×50 mm, and 8×80 mm).

• Drill through the post and insert the compound nuts (M8 10×48 mm).

• Attach the opposite plates using M8x25 SK-screws.

• Align and slide both beams together until the plates interlock.

• Secure the connection with the included locking brackets.

• Check alignment and perform final tightening as required.
