RICON DA 40 x 120 VM58 Beam Hanger

The RICON DA 40 x 120 VM58 Beam Hanger is a concealed double connection system designed for joining two beams to a single post. This version uses 58 mm compound nuts for 60 mm post sections, providing accurate alignment and secure through-post fastening in compact structural assemblies.

With 120 mm plates, the connection is optimized for shallower beam depths while maintaining reliable load transfer and complete concealment. The system is designed for fast, precise installation and can be disassembled or reused as needed in prefabricated or modular timber construction.

• Mill a recess into the end grain of each beam following the template.

• Mount the connector plates using the supplied SK-screws (5×80 mm, 5×50 mm, and 8×80 mm).

• Drill through the post and insert the compound nuts (M8 10×58 mm).

• Attach the opposite plates using M8x25 SK-screws.

• Align and slide the beams together until the plates interlock.

• Install the locking brackets to secure the connection.

• Confirm alignment and tighten all fasteners as needed.
