RICON DA 40 x 140 VM58 Beam Hanger

The RICON DA 40 x 140 VM58 Beam Hanger provides a concealed double connection for joining two beams to a single post. This configuration uses compound nuts positioned through the post to eliminate screw interference and maintain precise alignment.

The 140 mm plates are ideal for slimmer beam profiles, offering strong load transfer and a completely hidden joint. The VM58 version includes 58 mm compound nuts for use with 60 mm post sections. This system ensures fast, accurate installation and allows repeatable assembly and disassembly without compromising structural integrity.

• Mill a recess into the end grain of each horizontal beam according to the template.

• Mount the plates with SK-screws (5×80 mm, 5×50 mm, and 8×80 mm).

• Drill through the post and insert the compound nuts (M8 10×58 mm).

• Fasten the opposite plates to the post using M8x25 SK-screws.

• Align and slide both beams together until the plates interlock.

• Secure the connection with the supplied locking brackets.

• Check alignment and perform final tightening as needed.
