The RICON DA 40 x 160 VM58 Beam Hanger is a precision-engineered double connection system for structural timber assemblies where two beams intersect on the same vertical post. Designed for concealed, high-load applications, it uses compound nuts installed through the post to eliminate screw collisions and maintain clean alignment.

This system delivers a strong, removable connection suitable for post-and-beam facades, modular timber systems, and prefabricated structures where both visual quality and performance are critical. It enables rapid installation, repeatable precision, and long-term structural reliability.

• Cut the recess into the end grain of both horizontal beams.

• Mount the connector plates using the supplied SK-screws (5×80 mm, 5×50 mm, and 8×80 mm).

• Drill the boreholes through the vertical post and insert the M8 compound nuts.

• Attach the opposite plates using M8x25 SK-screws.

• Align and slide the beams into position until the plates interlock.

• Secure with the locking brackets and confirm final alignment.
