RICON DA 40 x 80 VM58 Beam Hanger

The RICON DA 40 x 80 VM58 Beam Hanger is a concealed double connection system for joining two beams to a single post. It provides a compact and hidden structural joint with high load-bearing capacity and precise alignment using through-post compound nuts.

This version features 80 mm connector plates and 58 mm compound nuts designed for 60 mm post sections. The configuration offers a strong and space-efficient solution for lighter framing layouts, ensuring a clean, flush finish suitable for both prefabricated and on-site construction.

• Mill a recess into the end grain of both beams according to the template.

• Mount the connector plates using SK-screws (5×80 mm, 5×50 mm, and 8×80 mm).

• Drill through the post and insert the compound nuts (M8 10×58 mm).

• Attach the opposite plates using M8x25 SK-screws.

• Align and slide both beams into position until the plates interlock.

• Install the locking brackets to secure the connection.

• Check alignment and tighten all fasteners as required.
