RICON DA 40 x 80 VM78 Beam Hanger

The RICON DA 40 x 80 VM78 Beam Hanger is a concealed double connection system for joining two beams to a single post. Designed for compact applications, it provides a strong, hidden connection with precise alignment through the use of compound nuts passing through the post.

This version uses 80 mm connector plates and 78 mm compound nuts for 80 mm post sections. Despite its small footprint, it delivers high load capacity and reliable structural performance in applications where space is limited or a clean visual finish is required.

• Mill a recess into the end grain of both beams using the provided template.

• Attach the connector plates using SK-screws (5×80 mm, 5×50 mm, and 8×80 mm).

• Drill through the post and insert the compound nuts (M8 10×78 mm).

• Mount the opposite plates with M8x25 SK-screws.

• Align and slide both beams into position until the plates interlock.

• Secure the joint using the supplied locking brackets.

• Verify alignment and tighten all fasteners before closing the assembly.
