RICON EA 40 x 160 Beam Hanger Set

The RICON EA 40 x 160 Beam Hanger Set is a concealed single connection system engineered for joining one beam to a post, wall, or other support member. The precision interlocking plates form a strong, flush-mounted joint with reliable load transfer and minimal visual impact.

Each connector consists of two identical steel plates that hook together in a dovetail-like manner. One plate is typically recessed into the beam end, while the other mounts to the adjoining member. The system delivers a fast, repeatable installation and self-aligns as the plates engage. It can be installed fully concealed or visible, and disassembled when required for inspection or modular construction.

• Mill a recess into the end grain of the beam using the supplied template.

• Mount one connector plate to the beam using SK-screws (5×50 mm, 5×80 mm, 8×50 mm, and 8×80 mm).

• Attach the opposite plate to the post, wall, or support member.

• Align the beam and slide the plates together until they interlock.

• Install the locking clip if additional security is required.

• Verify alignment and tighten all fasteners to specification.
