FAST Biscuit Connector

The FAST is a regular #20 biscuit connector designed for quick, concealed joinery. This self-tightening, non-visible plastic connector installs in seconds with just a hammer — no clamps, screws, or glue required. The patented cutting edges lock into place, making it ideal for furniture, case goods, and architectural millwork where speed and a clean finish are essential.

For additional strength, a few drops of KNAPP PU+ Adhesive can be added during installation or applied to the joint for a permanent bond. This connector is suitable for all types of snap-in connections, especially where space or design conditions prevent the use of traditional sliding joints.

Steps

1. Cut a #20 biscuit slot using a biscuit joiner or CNC.

2. Position the connector tip at one end of the slot at an angle that matches the radius of the cut.

3. Press into the groove, ensuring the connector halves are inserted mirrored to each other.

4. Use a hammer to knock in the FAST connector, sliding it along the radius of the slot so the cutting edges lock into the material.

5. Confirm that the connectors at the outer ends are flush with the surface of the component.

6. To assemble, simply snap the parts into each other.
