FIYU LOCK Spring Connector Set

The FIYU LOCK Spring Connector Set is designed for shelf supports and retrofit applications. Each set includes the FIYU LOCK 14 single spring lamella, a tensioning screw, and an Allen key — everything needed to add a concealed, secure shelf support to any cabinet with a 14 mm groove.

The spring lamella inserts into a groove on the cabinet side panel, and the tensioning screw threads through a drill hole in the shelf to lock it in place. No groove is needed on the shelf side — just a simple drill hole. This makes the set ideal for adding shelves to existing cabinets or for flexible shelf positioning in new builds.

Steps

1. Mill a 14 mm groove in the cabinet side panel at the desired shelf height.
2. Insert the FIYU LOCK spring lamella (K856/S) into the groove. The cutting edges grip the groove walls immediately.
3. Drill a hole in the shelf panel at the corresponding position.
4. Position the shelf onto the protruding tongue of the spring lamella.
5. Thread the tensioning screw through the shelf and into the connector. Tighten with the included Allen key.

Tips

• A flat dowel machine can cut the groove on-site — no need to remove the cabinet for CNC processing.
• The spring lamella holds the shelf in position even before the tensioning screw is inserted, making alignment easy.
• For multiple shelves, the groove positions in the side panel can be spaced as close as needed.
