TUCK 10×16 – Spring Steel Compression Dowel

Steps

1. Screw one end of the TUCK 10×16 into part A.

2. Drill a 10 mm borehole to a depth of 16 mm in part B.

3. Insert the connector and join the parts together with a rubber mallet.

Tips

• The compact size makes it ideal for thin stock or shallow joinery.

• Assemble by striking from below rather than against a hard surface, letting the material’s natural suspension aid assembly.

• For larger workpieces, a clamping aid can be used.

• Glue may be added, but the joint is immediately load-bearing without curing time.
