Mod-eez 4031 Pass-Thru Clip – Concealed Case Goods & Cabinet Connector

The Mod-eez 4031 Single Clip is the pass-thru version of the 4030 Series, designed for 5/8″+ material. It allows screws to extend through the connector into the adjoining material, delivering deeper anchoring strength while maintaining a fully concealed connection.

Made of spring steel, the 4031 is a strong and flexible connector used in combination with a Mod-eez Shoulder Screw. Once assembled, the connection is immediately load-bearing and completely hidden from view.

This product contains the clip only. For convenience, Mod-eez Sets are also available which include the clip, Shoulder Screw, and mounting screws.

Steps

1. Route the pocket for the Mod-eez Clip according to the technical chart.

2. Pre-drill 5/32″ (4 mm) holes, 32 mm on center, using the K617 Drilling and Depth Jig.

3. Mount the clip with PH-screws Ø 4.5 mm (length as required).

4. Pre-drill and install the Shoulder Screw in the mating panel.

5. Assemble by sliding the Shoulder Screw head down the clip ramp, securing with a rubber mallet if necessary.

Tips

• Use the pass-thru design when longer screws or deeper anchoring are required.

• Pockets are typically routed into edges but can be surface-mounted when needed.

• Clips can also be welded to approximately 16 ga. steel.

• For extra strength, use longer PH-screws (around 5 × 60 mm).
