Mod-eez 4034 Locking Clip – Concealed Case Goods & Cabinet Connector

The Mod-eez 4034 Single Clip is the locking version of the 4030 Series, designed for 5/8″+ material. Unlike non-locking or semi-locking clips, the locking clip creates a permanent connection that cannot be disassembled without damage, making it ideal for applications requiring maximum security and strength.

Made from spring steel, the 4034 works with a Mod-eez Shoulder Screw to deliver a concealed, self-tightening joint that is immediately load-bearing. Once installed, all fasteners disappear, leaving a clean, professional finish.

This product contains the clip only. For convenience, Mod-eez Sets are also available which include the clip, Shoulder Screw, and mounting screws.

Steps

1. Route the pocket for the Mod-eez Clip according to the technical chart.

2. Pre-drill 5/32″ (4 mm) holes, 32 mm on center, using the K617 Drilling and Depth Jig.

3. Mount the clip with PH-screws Ø 4.5 mm (length as required).

4. Pre-drill and install the Shoulder Screw in the mating panel.

5. Slide the Shoulder Screw head into the clip ramp and secure with a rubber mallet.

Tips

• Choose the locking clip for permanent, tamper-proof joints.

• Pockets are usually routed into edges but can be face-mounted if design requires.

• Use longer PH-screws (5 × 60 mm) for added connector strength.

• Not intended for assemblies that require disassembly.
