Mod-eez 4035 Semi-Locking Clip – Concealed Case Goods & Cabinet Connector

The Mod-eez 4035 Single Clip is the semi-locking version of the 4030 Series, designed for 5/8″+ material. It provides a firm connection that resists accidental disassembly, while still allowing the joint to be taken apart if needed. This makes it the ideal choice when you need added security without going fully permanent.

Built from spring steel, the 4035 works with a Mod-eez Shoulder Screw to form a concealed, self-tightening joint that is immediately load-bearing. Once assembled, all fasteners are hidden for a clean, professional finish.

This product contains the clip only. For convenience, Mod-eez Sets are also available which include the clip, Shoulder Screw, and mounting screws.

Steps

1. Route the pocket for the Mod-eez Clip according to the technical chart.

2. Pre-drill 5/32″ (4 mm) holes, 32 mm on center, using the K617 Drilling and Depth Jig.

3. Mount the clip with PH-screws Ø 4.5 mm (length as required).

4. Pre-drill and install the Shoulder Screw in the mating panel.

5. Slide the Shoulder Screw head into the clip ramp and secure with a rubber mallet.

Tips

• Semi-locking clips provide added holding power compared to non-locking versions.

• Best for applications that should resist easy takedown but still allow controlled disassembly.

• Pockets are typically routed into edges but can be face-mounted if needed.

• For added strength, use longer PH-screws (5 × 60 mm).
