The Mod-eez 4037 Double Clip combines one semi-locking clip and one non-locking clip into a single connector, delivering a balance of security and flexibility. The semi-locking side provides strong resistance to accidental disassembly, while the non-locking side allows for controlled takedown when needed.

Made of spring steel, the Mod-eez 4037 is ideal for RTA furniture, cabinets, and case goods. The double-clip design makes two points of contact at once, cutting installation time and creating an anti-rotating joint. Paired with Shoulder Screws, this system provides a strong, concealed connection that’s immediately load-bearing.

Steps

1. Route pocket for the Mod-eez Double Clip according to the technical chart.

2. Use the Mod-eez Drilling and Depth Jig to pre-drill 5/32″ (4 mm) holes, 32 mm on center. This ensures proper depth and alignment.

3. Mount the clip with PH-screws Ø 4.5 mm (length as required).

4. Pre-drill for Shoulder Screws and install them in the mating piece.

5. Assemble the workpiece by sliding the Shoulder Screw heads down the clip ramps and tapping gently with a rubber mallet.

Tips

• Pockets are usually routed into the panel edge but can be face-mounted when design requires.

• To prevent rotation without anti-rotation clips, attach Shoulder Screw in the pocket and clip on the surface.

• Mod-eez Clips can also be welded to ~16 ga. steel by wire welding.
