The Mod-eez 4038 Double Clip combines one locking clip and one non-locking clip in a single connector, giving you both permanent security and controlled disassembly where needed. The locking side creates a connection that cannot be undone without damage, while the non-locking side allows for easier takedown when required.

Like all Mod-eez Double Clips, it provides two points of contact in one connector, reducing installation time and delivering anti-rotation performance when paired with Shoulder Screws.

Steps

1. Route the pocket for the Mod-eez Double Clip following the technical chart.

2. Pre-drill holes (5/32″ or 4 mm, 32 mm on center) using the Mod-eez Drilling and Depth Jig. This ensures perfect alignment and depth.

3. Mount the clip with PH-screws Ø 4.5 mm (length as required).

4. Pre-drill and install the Shoulder Screws in the mating workpiece.

5. Assemble by sliding the Shoulder Screw heads down the clip ramps, securing with a rubber mallet if needed.

• Use the non-locking side when disassembly may be required.

• Locking clips provide permanent strength — plan assembly order carefully.

• Pockets are typically routed into the edge but can be surface-mounted when design requires.

• Clips can be welded to ~16 ga. steel when needed.
