The Mod-eez 4039A Double Clip is designed with one pass-thru clip and one semi-locking clip, offering both deep anchoring capability and increased holding resistance. The pass-thru clip allows screws to extend through into the adjoining panel, while the semi-locking clip ensures a firmer connection that is harder to disassemble than a standard non-locking version.

Steps

1. Route the pocket for the Mod-eez Double Clip according to the technical chart.

2. Pre-drill 5/32″ (4 mm) holes, 32 mm on center, using the Mod-eez Drilling and Depth Jig.

3. Mount the clip with PH-screws Ø 4.5 mm.

4. Install Shoulder Screws in the mating workpiece.

5. Join components by sliding the Shoulder Screw heads into the clip ramps; use a rubber mallet for a snug fit.

Tips

• Pass-thru clip side is best for longer screws and deeper anchoring.

• Semi-locking side offers stronger retention and resists easy disassembly.

• For added versatility, clips can be welded to ~16 ga. steel when required.

• Edge routing is typical, but clips can also be face-mounted where design dictates.
