Steps

1. Route the pocket for the clip according to the Mod-eez technical chart.

2. Using the K617 Drilling and Depth Jig, pre-drill 5/32 inch (4 mm) holes, 32 mm on center, and verify pocket depth.

3. Mount the clip with PH screws Ø 4.5 mm.

4. Pre-drill and install the Shoulder Screw in the mating panel.

5. Slide the Shoulder Screw head into the clip ramp and tap lightly with a rubber mallet to seat.

Tips

• Edge routing is typical, but face mounting is possible when design requires.

• Longer PH screws, for example 5 × 60 mm, can increase holding strength.

• Clips may be welded to approximately 16 gauge steel using wire welding.
