The Mod-eez 4061Z Single Clip is the zinc-plated version of the 4060 Series non-locking connector for 3/4 inch and thicker stock. It delivers the same hidden, self-tightening performance as the 4061 but with added corrosion resistance from its zinc coating, making it well suited for environments with fluctuating humidity.

Used in combination with a Mod-eez Shoulder Screw, the 4061Z creates a durable joint that assembles in seconds while staying completely concealed. The non-locking design allows repeat disassembly and reassembly, making it a reliable choice for modular and reusable builds.

Steps

1. Route pocket for the clip according to the Mod-eez technical chart.

2. Using the K617 Drilling and Depth Jig, pre-drill 5/32 inch (4 mm) holes, 32 mm on center, ensuring correct pocket depth.

3. Mount the clip with PH screws Ø 4.5 mm.

4. Pre-drill and install the Shoulder Screw in the mating panel.

5. Slide the Shoulder Screw head into the clip ramp and tap into place with a rubber mallet.

Tips

• Zinc coating adds corrosion resistance, making this ideal for installations in variable humidity environments.

• Longer PH screws, such as 5 × 60 mm, can increase holding strength.

• Can also be welded to 16-gauge steel using wire welding when needed.
