Mod‑eez 4063A Semi‑Locking Clip for 3/4″+ Stock

The Mod-eez 4063A Single Clip is the semi-locking version of the 4060 Series for 3/4 inch and thicker stock. Made of durable spring steel, it pairs with a Mod-eez Shoulder Screw to create a secure, self-tightening connection that resists accidental disassembly but can still be taken apart when needed.

This makes the 4063A ideal for projects requiring stronger retention than non-locking clips while still offering serviceability. Once assembled, the joint is concealed, leaving no visible fasteners on the finished surface.

Steps

1. Route the pocket for the clip according to the Mod-eez technical chart.

2. Pre-drill 5/32 inch (4 mm) holes, 32 mm on center, using the K617 Drilling and Depth Jig to ensure proper alignment and depth.

3. Mount the clip with PH screws Ø 4.5 mm.

4. Pre-drill and install the Shoulder Screw in the mating panel.

5. Slide the Shoulder Screw head down into the clip ramp and seat with a rubber mallet.

Tips

• Semi-locking clips offer greater resistance to disassembly, best for applications requiring stronger holding power.

• Longer PH screws (5 × 60 mm) can be used for added strength.

• Edge mounting is standard, but clips can also be mounted in face pockets when design requires.
