Mod‑eez 5030 Pass‑Thru Clip for 3/4″+ Stock

The Mod-eez 5030 Single Clip is the pass-thru version of the 5030 Series, designed for 3/4 inch and thicker stock. Built from spring steel, this clip pairs with a Mod-eez Shoulder Screw to form a strong, self-tightening connection that assembles in seconds and remains completely concealed once installed.

The pass-thru geometry allows the Shoulder Screw head to pass through the clip slot during disassembly, making it ideal for applications that need quick release and reassembly without damaging components.

Steps

1. Route pocket for the Mod-eez Clip according to the technical chart.

2. Pre-drill 5/32 inch (4 mm) holes, 32 mm on center, using the K617 Drilling and Depth Jig to ensure correct pocket depth.

3. Mount the clip with PH screws Ø 4.5 mm (length as required).

4. Pre-drill and install the Shoulder Screw in the mating panel.

5. Slide the Shoulder Screw head down the clip ramp; for disassembly, allow the screw to pass through the clip slot.

Tips

• Pass-thru clips are best for joints that require frequent disassembly and reassembly.

• Longer PH screws (5 × 60 mm) can be used for increased strength.

• Clips can also be welded to steel (approx. 16 ga.) using wire welding.
