Mod‑eez 5033 Double Non‑Locking Clip for 3/4″+ Stock

The Mod-eez 5033 Double Clip is the fully non-locking version of the 5030 series, making it ideal for applications where assemblies need to be taken apart and reassembled repeatedly. With two non-locking spring steel clips, it provides secure holding strength while remaining easy to disassemble without damage.

Like all Mod-eez connectors, the 5033 is a concealed, anti-rotating fastener that pairs with Shoulder Screws for a reliable, immediately load-bearing joint. Its double-clip design reduces labor by making two points of contact with a single connector.

Steps

1. Route the pocket for the Mod-eez Double Clip according to the technical chart.

2. Use the Mod-eez Drilling and Depth Jig to pre-drill 5/32″ (4 mm) holes, 32 mm on center.

3. Mount the clip with PH-screws Ø 4.5 mm.

4. Pre-drill and install Shoulder Screws in the mating workpiece.

5. Assemble by sliding the Shoulder Screw heads into the clip ramps and secure with a rubber mallet.

Tips

• Works best where repeat assembly/disassembly is needed.

• Pockets are usually routed in the edge but can also be face-mounted.

• Mod-eez clips can be welded to ~16 ga. steel when required.

• Use longer PH-screws (e.g., 5×60 mm) for added strength.
