The Mod-eez 5035 Double Clip combines one semi-locking clip and one non-locking clip, giving you the best of both worlds. The semi-locking side provides higher resistance to accidental disassembly, while the non-locking side ensures flexibility when controlled takedown is required.

Steps

1. Route the pocket for the Mod-eez Double Clip according to the technical chart.

2. Use the Mod-eez Drilling and Depth Jig to pre-drill 5/32″ (4 mm) holes, 32 mm on center.

3. Mount the clip with PH-screws Ø 4.5 mm.

4. Pre-drill and install Shoulder Screws in the mating workpiece.

5. Slide the Shoulder Screw heads into the clip ramps and tap gently with a rubber mallet.

Tips

• Semi-locking side adds holding power where disassembly is less frequent.

• Non-locking side ensures flexibility in applications where partial access is needed.

• Pockets are usually routed in the edge but can be surface-mounted when required.

• Longer PH-screws (5×60 mm) increase connector strength.
