The Mod-eez 5039A Double Clip combines one pass-thru clip and one semi-locking clip, delivering both deep anchoring strength and enhanced holding resistance. The pass-thru clip allows screws to extend into adjoining materials for greater load capacity, while the semi-locking clip adds extra security by making disassembly more resistant than non-locking versions.

Constructed from spring steel, the 5039A is a concealed, self-tightening connector designed for cabinetry, case goods, and furniture where durability and strength are essential. The dual-clip system forms two points of contact in one connector, reducing installation time and providing anti-rotation performance when paired with Shoulder Screws.

Steps

1. Route the pocket for the Mod-eez Double Clip as per the technical chart.

2. Pre-drill 5/32″ (4 mm) holes, 32 mm on center, using the Mod-eez Drilling and Depth Jig.

3. Mount the clip with PH-screws Ø 4.5 mm.

4. Install Shoulder Screws into the mating workpiece.

5. Assemble by sliding the Shoulder Screw heads into the clip ramps, securing with a rubber mallet.

Tips

• Pass-thru clip provides added strength with longer screws.

• Semi-locking side is more secure than non-locking, but still demountable with effort.

• Clips can be welded to ~16 ga. steel where required.

• Pockets can be edge-routed or face-mounted, depending on design.
