Mod‑eez 5060 Severe Semi‑Locking Clip for 3/4″+ Stock

The Mod-eez 5060 Single Clip is the severe semi-locking version of the 5060 Series for 3/4 inch and thicker stock. Like other Mod-eez connectors, it combines a spring steel ramp clip with a Shoulder Screw to form a concealed, self-tightening joint.

The severe semi-locking variation is designed with an extra-strong retention force. It is more secure than standard semi-locking clips, yet it is not fully permanent like the locking type. This makes it an excellent choice for applications where joints must stay very secure but still allow disassembly when required.

Steps

1. Route the pocket for the Mod-eez Clip according to the technical chart.

2. Use the K618 Drilling and Depth Jig to pre-drill 5/32 inch (4 mm) holes, 32 mm on center, and confirm correct pocket depth.

3. Mount the clip with PH screws Ø 4.5 mm (length as required).

4. Pre-drill and install the Shoulder Screw in the mating panel.

5. Slide the Shoulder Screw head into the clip ramp until it locks securely in place.

Tips

• Severe semi-locking clips are ideal for joints that need to remain tight but still allow occasional disassembly

• For maximum holding strength, use longer PH screws (5 × 60 mm)

• Clips can be welded to 16 ga. steel using wire welding if required
