Mod‑eez 5064 Locking Clip for 3/4″+ Stock

The Mod-eez 5064 Single Clip is the locking version of the 5060 Series for 3/4 inch and thicker stock. Built from high-strength spring steel, it pairs with a Mod-eez Shoulder Screw to form a permanent, concealed connection.

Unlike semi-locking or non-locking variations, the 5064 is designed to keep the Shoulder Screw head permanently engaged within the clip ramp. Once assembled, the connection cannot be removed without damaging the parts, making it ideal for applications where long-term strength and stability are required.

Steps

1. Route the pocket for the Mod-eez Clip according to the technical chart.

2. Use the K618 Drilling and Depth Jig to pre-drill 5/32 inch (4 mm) holes, 32 mm on center, ensuring correct depth.

3. Mount the clip with PH screws Ø 4.5 mm.

4. Pre-drill and install the Shoulder Screw in the mating panel.

5. Slide the Shoulder Screw head into the clip ramp until fully engaged. The connection will lock permanently.

Tips

• Choose locking clips for assemblies that should never be taken apart

• Longer PH screws (5 × 60 mm) can increase strength in heavy-duty applications

• Locking clips are best for cabinetry, fixtures, and furniture where permanent stability is critical
