Mod‑eez 6063 Non‑Locking Clip for 1″+ Stock

The Mod-eez 6063 Single Clip is the non-locking version of the 6060 Series, engineered for 1 inch and thicker stock. Built from spring steel, it pairs with a Mod-eez Shoulder Screw to form a concealed, self-tightening joint.

Unlike locking versions, the 6063 is designed for flexibility. The Shoulder Screw head can slide in and out of the clip ramp, allowing panels and components to be disassembled and reassembled multiple times. This makes it the ideal solution for applications where strength is needed, but future adjustments or transport are also required.

Steps

1. Route a pocket measuring 50 mm × 12 mm × 11 mm deep in the workpiece.

2. Pre-drill two pilot holes for #10 pan head screws: 2.5 mm in softwood or 2.8 mm in hardwood.

3. Secure the 6063 clip with PH screws Ø 4.5 mm.

4. Pre-drill and install the Mod-eez Shoulder Screw in the mating panel.

5. Slide the Shoulder Screw head into the clip ramp until fully engaged.

Tips

• Use 11.2 mm pocket depth for a tighter fit, or 10.8 mm for easier assembly.

• Longer PH screws (5 × 60 mm) can increase strength in heavy-duty builds.

• Best for applications where components may need to be disassembled and reassembled.
