The Mod-eez 1760 Single Clip is a concealed, self-tightening connector designed for RTA furniture, cabinetry, and case goods. Made of durable spring steel, it provides a strong and flexible joint when paired with a Mod-eez Shoulder Screw. The clip installs flush into a routed pocket, and when assembled, all fasteners are hidden from view.

Steps

1. Route the pocket for the Mod-eez Single Clip using a spindle moulder, plunge router, or CNC.

2. Use the Mod-eez Drilling and Depth Jig (CCD/4030S) to pre-drill 5/32 inch (4 mm) holes, 32 mm on center, ensuring accurate depth and alignment.

3. Mount the clip with PH- or CS-screws Ø 4.5 mm (length as required).

4. Install the Shoulder Screw into the mating panel.

5. Assemble by sliding the Shoulder Screw head into the clip ramp until it locks securely.

Tips

• Select the clip type (pass-thru, non-locking, semi-locking, or locking) depending on whether disassembly is needed.

• For added strength, use longer PH-screws (around 5 × 60 mm).

• Pockets are typically routed into panel edges but can also be face-mounted when needed.

• Clips can be welded to approximately 16 gauge steel using wire welding.
