Mod-eez 4032 Non-Locking Set – Concealed Connector

The Mod-eez 4032 Non-Locking Set is part of the 4030 Series, designed for 5/8 inch and thicker stock. Constructed from durable spring steel, this connector works with the included Shoulder Screw to create a concealed, self-tightening joint.

Steps

1. Route a pocket measuring approx. 42.5 mm long × 12 mm wide × 11 mm deep in the workpiece.

2. Pre-drill two pilot holes for the included PH mounting screws: 2.4 mm (softwood) or 2.8 mm (hardwood).

3. Secure the 4032 Non-Locking Clip with the included #10 screws.

4. Pre-drill and install the 5 mm × 1/2″ Shoulder Screw in the mating panel.

5. Slide the Shoulder Screw head into the clip ramp until engaged. The joint can be disassembled as needed.

Tips

• Use 11.2 mm pocket depth for a tighter hold, or 10.8 mm for easier assembly.

• The K617 Drilling and Depth Jig helps ensure accurate pocket placement and drilling depth.

• Non-locking clips are best for furniture and cabinetry that require repeatable assembly.
