Pass-Thru Anti-Rotation Clips 2071 + 2072

The Mod-eez 2071 / 2072 Pass-Thru Anti-Rotation Clips are designed for 5/8″ (16mm) and thicker stock. This male and female clip pair interlocks to create a concealed joint that prevents panel rotation in narrow applications such as table aprons, chair rails, and frame assemblies as small as 2″ (50mm) tall.

The Pass-Thru configuration allows the male clip to slide completely through the female clip during disassembly, requiring no tools and minimal effort. This makes the 2071 / 2072 well-suited for knock-down furniture, trade show displays, and any application requiring repeated assembly and disassembly.

Mounting screws sold separately.

1. Route the female clip pocket to 2070 Series specifications: 14 mm depth, 32 mm width, 42 mm min length (open-end) or 63.5 mm min length (closed).
2. Pre-drill screw holes 32 mm on center. Use 2.4 mm diameter for softwood or 2.8 mm for hardwood.
3. Mount the female clip (2072) in the routed pocket using #8 flat head wood screws or 4.5 mm wood screws.
4. Mount the male clip (2071) on the surface of the opposing workpiece using the same screw specification.
5. Assemble by sliding the two panels together until the clips interlock. The joint is load-bearing immediately upon engagement.
6. To disassemble, slide the panels apart. The Pass-Thru design allows separation without tools.
