The Mod-eez 5565–5066 Sex Bolt Set is a through-panel fastener designed for 5/8″ divider panels. This set pairs a #10-32 fine-thread shoulder bolt with a matching sex bolt barrel, allowing Mod-eez clip connections on both sides of a shared middle wall or divider panel at the exact same position.

This is the mid-range workhorse of the #10-32 sex bolt set family, targeting the most common divider thickness in standard North American cabinet construction.

Steps

1. Drill a through-hole in the divider panel at the desired connection point.
2. Insert the 5565 shoulder bolt from one side of the panel.
3. Insert the 5066 sex bolt barrel from the opposite side.
4. Thread the bolt and barrel together until both shoulders sit flush against the panel faces.
5. Install Mod-eez clips in the mating components.
6. Slide components onto the exposed shoulders from each side.

Tips

• For 1/2″ material, use the 5045–5566 set. For 3/4″+, use the 5065–5666 set.
