Steps

1. Route the pocket for the Mod-eez clip according to the 4030 Series routing chart.

2. Use the Mod-eez Drilling and Depth Jig to pre-drill 5/32 inch (4 mm) holes spaced 32 mm on center to ensure correct alignment and depth.

3. Mount each clip with PH screws Ø 4.5 mm, using the jig for consistent depth and spacing.

4. Install the shoulder screw in the corresponding workpiece.

5. Slide or tap the panels together so that the shoulder screw head engages securely into the clip ramp.

Tips

• Pockets can be routed into either the edge or the face of the panel.

• For additional strength, longer PH screws (5 × 60 mm) can be used.

• To prevent rotation, attach the shoulder screw in the pocket and the clip on the surface.

• Mod-eez clips can also be welded to 16-gauge steel for metal-frame applications.

• Always verify proper depth and alignment before final assembly using the drilling jig.
