QUICK-SET – Sample Pack

The QUICK-SET Sample Pack includes 24 locking dowels designed for fast, concealed assembly of furniture, cabinetry, and stair components. Each QUICK-SET consists of a threaded steel stud and a matching plastic sleeve that form a self-tightening, permanent connection when joined.

Unlike wooden dowels, QUICK-SET connectors do not require glue or clamping. The serrated surface of the sleeve and precision-threaded stud ensure tight engagement and immediate load-bearing capability. Steps

1. Drill holes for the anchor bolt and plastic sleeve:

   • For 5 mm versions: drill Ø 5 mm for the metal stud (7.5 or 11 mm deep).

   • For 8 mm versions: drill Ø 8 mm for the metal stud (8 or 26 mm deep).

   • For the plastic sleeve (all sizes): drill Ø 8 mm × 31–32 mm deep.

2. Insert the plastic sleeve loosely into the 8 mm borehole (no adhesive needed).

3. Screw the threaded bolt into the corresponding hole using a cordless drill or by hand.

4. Align the workpieces and join them together with light pressure or a rubber mallet until fully seated.

Tips

• Bolt thread length is 7.5 mm; suitable for vertical center panels from 14 mm thick.

• Use five to six connectors per 600 mm length depending on material.

• The plastic sleeve bore is always 8 mm Ø and 31–32 mm deep to ensure tight fit of the bolt.

• For mass production, CNC machining provides the fastest and most accurate setup.
