Steps

1. Pre-drill boreholes based on dowel size:

   • Ø 6 mm × 25 mm → drill depth 25 mm

   • Ø 8 mm × 35 mm → drill depth 35 mm

   • Ø 10 mm × 32 mm → drill depth 32 mm

   • Ø 10 mm × 28 mm → drill depth 28 mm

   • Ø 10 mm × 16 mm → drill depth 16 mm

2. Insert the TUCK dowel into one workpiece (surface application recommended).

3. Align and attach the mating workpiece using a rubber mallet.

4. Optional: Apply a small amount of KNAPP Adhesive PU+ to the edges before assembly for additional bond strength.

Tips

• Strike the parts together using light, even blows rather than forcing from above on a hard surface.

• For large or heavy assemblies, temporary clamping may assist alignment but can be removed immediately after joining.

• The TUCK dowel’s spring steel design eliminates the need for curing time, allowing components to be used or handled right after assembly.

• For glued joints, it is not necessary to wait for full adhesive hardening.
