Steps

1. Install the Railbolt Shaft and Housing

   • After preparing the handrail and post, assemble the railbolt’s shaft and gear housing into the rail.

   • Drill a 25 mm (1 in) hole into the post.

   • Install the keyhole disc using the provided screws, ensuring it sits flush or slightly recessed in the post.

2. Connect the Railbolt

   • Insert the railbolt tip into the keyhole disc on both sides of the connection.

   • Push the handrail downwards so the railbolts seat securely into the discs.

3. Tighten the Connection

   • Using a 5 mm hex bit, tighten the gear housing by hand or with a cordless screwdriver until the connection is firm.
