sKLICK – Dovetail Connector
The sKLICK is a single dovetail connector designed for fast, concealed snap-in assembly of mouldings, trims, and more. Simply attach the connector with the included 3×13 mm pan head screw, and it locks securely into a dovetail groove cut on the adjoining piece. For applications without a routed groove, the optional KLICKpro adapter can be attached with nails, staples, or screws.
The dovetail groove is cut using the custom KLICK Dovetail Router Bit, available in 1/4″, 1/2″, and 8 mm shank sizes, ensuring a precise fit. Made of UV- and weather-resistant PA6 plastic, the sKLICK is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Its self-tightening design eliminates the need for clamps or glue, reduces labor, and preserves the finished surface by keeping it free of visible fasteners.

How to Install Chair Rail
Instructions
Steps
-
Cut a dovetail groove in the workpiece using the KLICK Dovetail Router Bit (K048/F).
-
Fasten the sKLICK connector to the opposing component with the included 3×13 mm pan head screw.
-
Align the workpieces and snap the sKLICK connector into the groove using a rubber mallet.
Tips
-
Scoring a line or pre-drilling simplifies installation.
-
The sKLICK pulls itself deeper into the dovetail groove for a secure, self-tightening fit.
-
Use one connector every 8–10 inches (200–250 mm) or as needed for maximum holding strength.
Note for CNC Machining
-
For easier processing, pre-cut a 4 mm kerf before routing the dovetail groove with the KLICK Dovetail Router Bit (K048/F).
