RICON 30 x 160 EA Stainless Steel Beam Hanger

The RICON 30 x 160 EA Stainless Steel Beam Hanger is a concealed single connection system for joining one beam to a post, wall, or structural member in indoor and outdoor environments. Constructed from A2 stainless steel, it provides superior corrosion resistance for exposed or moisture-prone applications while maintaining the clean, hidden joint aesthetic of the RICON system.

Each connector consists of two identical A2 stainless steel plates that interlock in a dovetail-like fashion. One plate is recessed into the beam end, and the other mounts to the adjoining component. The plates self-align upon engagement, forming a tight, gap-free joint. Installation is fast and repeatable using self-tapping stainless steel screws, with the option for concealed or visible mounting. The connection can be disassembled and reused for prefabricated or modular assemblies.

• Fire Resistance: R30 ≥ 20 mm, R60 ≥ 40 mm (four-sided concealed installation)

• Mill a recess into the end grain of the beam using the provided routing template.

• Mount one stainless steel plate to the beam using A2 self-tapping screws (5×50 mm, 5×80 mm, 8×50 mm, 8×80 mm).

• Attach the opposite plate to the post, wall, or structural support.

• Align and slide the plates together until fully interlocked.

• Secure the connection with the stainless steel locking bracket if required.

• Verify alignment and tighten all screws to specification.
