RICON EA 40 x 80 Beam Hanger Set

The RICON EA 40 x 80 Beam Hanger Set is a concealed single connection system designed for compact structural timber applications. It enables fast, precise joining of a single beam to a post, wall, or support member while maintaining a fully hidden, flush-mounted connection.

Each connector consists of two identical steel plates that interlock securely in a dovetail-like configuration. The 80 mm plates provide high strength for smaller or lighter timber sections and are installed using self-tapping screws. The system allows quick, repeatable installation and can be disassembled for maintenance or reuse.

• Mill a recess into the beam end using the provided template.

• Mount one connector plate using SK-screws (5×50 mm, 5×80 mm, 8×50 mm, and 8×80 mm).

• Attach the opposite plate to the post, wall, or support member.

• Align and slide the plates together until fully interlocked.

• Secure the connection with the supplied locking bracket if required.

• Verify alignment and tighten all fasteners to specification.
