RICON EA 40 x 120 Beam Hanger Set

The RICON EA 40 x 120 Beam Hanger Set is a concealed single connection system designed for efficient and precise beam-to-post or beam-to-wall connections. The two identical steel plates interlock in a dovetail-like manner, creating a strong, flush-mounted joint that transfers loads cleanly while remaining invisible in the finished structure.

This 120 mm version provides excellent strength for mid-sized timber members while maintaining a slim installation profile. The connector can be installed either fully concealed or partially visible and is compatible with glulam, LVL, BauBuche, and hardwoods. Installation is fast and repeatable using self-tapping screws and can be completed with standard tools or optional KNAPP drilling and routing jigs.

• Mill a recess into the beam end using the supplied template.

• Mount one connector plate to the beam with SK-screws (5×50 mm, 5×80 mm, 8×50 mm, 8×80 mm).

• Fasten the opposite plate to the post, wall, or support member.

• Align and slide the plates together until fully engaged.

• Secure with the included locking bracket if required.

• Verify alignment and tighten all screws to specification.
